Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan is a very auspicious festival of India, which signifies the bond of a brother and sister. It is one of their most important festivals of Hindus. In addition, sisters eagerly wait for it because when a sister ties a band on brother wrist, in return she receives money and gifts. Moreover, it does not matter if you are a kid or an adult, Brothers and sisters of all ages celebrate this amazing festival. Importance

As we all understand, siblings and relatives carry a special place in our hearts. But, the bond of a brother and sister is very unique and special. They do care for each other in any situation. Celebration

On the occasion of this beautiful day sisters and brothers have to bathe early morning. Later, Sister brings and tie the band made off some colourful round shaped rings (famous as Rakhi) and offer some traditional sweets to brother. But before proceeding she keeps a red colour point on the forehead of his brother, which means blessing of God and intent to wish good health and long life. In return, brothers, bless their sisters and promise to protect them and taking care of them forever. Later all brothers also gave money and gifts to sisters. It can be in the form of money, dresses chocolates, gifts, money, dresses and more.

This day, we see the markets are full of people with colourful band, sweets and gifts. On this day usually new movies launch in cinema, because of that many brothers bring their sisters to show them new movie. As it is a day for sisters, so they go in the market to buy fashionable and trendiest rakhis (band). In conclusion, it is one of the most enjoyable festivals of India, which allow the brother and sister to strengthen their bond. Nowadays, even sisters have no brother then they tie the band to others that’s why boy are very careful 🙂 because they scared to have unwanted sisters. Just joking
