Jaipur City Tour, Jaipur is a beautiful and ancient city and popular as a ‘Pink City’. After a healthy breakfast the day starts around 8:00 am. This day we will visit the Amer Fort, Jaipur City Palace, jantar mantar, Hawa Mahal (photo stop), Birla Mandir (Temple), Albert Hall (stop photographic) the market of Bapu Bazzar.
Amer Fort
Amer Fort was originally the capital of Rajasthan until the 18th century. The Amer Fort or Amber Fort was built in the 16th century. It is one of the Navratna (nine gems) of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Amer Fort was as a royal residence for Rajput rulers until Jaipur was declared the capital of Rajasthan.
The City palace of Jaipur
The City Palace is a building that has amazing history of the city and is an icon of grandeur. Moreover, this palace was the home of the royal family, but was later divided into two parts; one containing a few courtyards and museums and the other where the royal family still resides.
Jantar- Mantar
jantar Mantar is a major tourist attraction and monument located in Jaipur. However, it is the largest observatory in the world and also a heritage site. This observatory is close to Hawa Mahal and the City Palace. In addition, it is famous for its collection of brass and stone astronomical instruments. The Palace of Wind (Hawa Mahal)
Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Winds) is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the pink city of Jaipur. It is one of the seven wonders of India. It is also popular as one of the most famous ancient monuments of this state. Moreover, The poet-king Sawai Pratap Singh built it in 1799. For Constructing the Palace of wind, they used red and pink sandstone and has a beehive-like structure. It is on Johari Bazaar Road, Badi Choupad in Jaipur. In addition, it opens every day of the week from 9:00 am to 16:30pm. This is a great example of Mughal and Rajput architectural styles.
The Birla Temple
The Birla temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and the goddess Laxmi. It is another great attraction in the pink city of Jaipur. The temple is at the foot of the Moti Dungri Fort. A wealthy business family of built this famous temple. However, this Family has built many temples throughout India. In addition, The king donated this land just for a symbolic sum of just one rupee to the this family.
Suggestion – We suggest you visit the old part of Jaipur and Albert Hall and local market in Night. It is very charming and a must-see place. If you have 2 days in Jaipur then second day you may visit some nearby village like Samod, Can do activities Elephantastic, Visit of some other forts.
