Day 1 - Downtown tour

Start your trip to Dubai through visiting, Downtown Dubai, to immerse yourself in the most elegant. Here you will find iconic buildings such as the BURJ KHALIFA tower, the highest in the world. The luxury shopping malls Dubai Mall and SOUQ al BAHAR and the Dubai Fountain. Main artery of this neighborhood is Sheikh ZAYED Road is one of the most scenic in Dubai. The red line of the elevated subway runs right along this avenue, allowing you to admire it from above.  If you want to go up to the observatory of BURJ KHALIFA. I suggest you go early in the morning, as soon as it opens. There are fewer people in line and the view is clearer, with less haze than the day.

For lunch you can stop at one of the various restaurants of the luxurious Dubai Mall. Where you will also find many shops for shopping and attractions such as the aquarium and the ice rink. Another attraction of Downtown Dubai is the Souk Al-BAHAR, a shopping center that combines luxury with a beautiful Arab style. It can be reached along a pedestrian walkway that starts from the Dubai Mall. Inside you will find craft shops, clothing, carpets and souvenirs, restaurants and bars. Here you will have a privileged view of the Dubai Fountain. It is the largest dancing fountain in the world, which in the evening will delight you with water and light games.

Day 2 Dubai Marina, The Palm and MADINATH JUMERIAH

On the second day I recommend you visit the part of the beaches and the port of Dubai. The district of Dubai Marina is a bit secluded from the center, so I recommend you start your visit here. To reach it quickly you can take the red metro line. Here you can enjoy a nice walk along the marina where on one side you will see the boats moored. While on the other side stand modern buildings and amazing skyscrapers, such as the particular CAYAN Tower. If you want to do some shopping close there is the elegant Dubai Marina Mall. The Walk at JBR, an outdoor walk just over a km long with shops, restaurants and bars. Together with the beach The Palm is the main attraction of this area.

During the day it is rather quiet, but comes alive in the evening, after sunset. When it is cooler; the premises and shops of this avenue remain open until late. Usually almost until midnight. So it could also be an alternative to spend the evening. Going south along the promenade you will arrive at the beach of Dubai Marina. Some stretches are for private use of hotels, others are accessible to all. Here you can stop to eat in one of the many bars and restaurants overlooking the sea.  The Mall of the Emirates is one of the most famous and important shopping centers in the city. It hosts a number of attractions such as Ski Dubai.

After lunch you can reach the artificial island of Palm JUMERIAH, connects to the mainland through a bridge. You can get there either with taxi or with the elevated monorail that also offers a beautiful view from the top of Palm JUMEIRAH. The main attraction of Palm JUMEIRAH is the hotel Atlantis, a luxury property with spectacular design. Although the areas of the beach and pool are reserved for hotel guests, it is still worth admiring the building from the outside. This complex also houses the Lost Chambers aquarium, where the tour takes you around the myth of Atlantis and allows you to discover many fish and sea creatures. Next to the Atlantis hotel you will also find another attraction of Palm JUMEIRAH: the AQUAVENTURE, a water park ideal for both adults and children.

If you are traveling with children it can be nice and fun to spend the afternoon in these places. Otherwise I recommend you take a taxi and reach the luxurious residential, hotel and commercial complex of MADINATH JUMEIRAH. It is a very suggestive place because it was designed with the idea of recreating a typical Arab city. In addition to 3 luxury hotels includes a SOUQ with numerous shops selling all kinds of products, from fabrics to perfumes to jewelry. All around the buildings there are canals, rivers and small lakes. Along the canals you will find many restaurants and bars to dine in.  From here you will also have a magnificent view of the beautiful BURJ Al Arab hotel, with its iconic sail shape, which has become the symbol of the city.

Day 3 - The Old Town during Dubai tour packages

On the third day I recommend you reach the area of Dubai Creek, the waterway that borders the two historic districts of Bur Dubai and DEIRAH. Here you will have the opportunity to take a leap back in time, breathing the atmosphere of Dubai once. Take the opportunity to stroll through the small quiet alleys of the city on which traditional houses overlook and visit the traditional markets. It teems with life and envelop visitors with the scents of spices and colors of fine fabrics sold at stalls.  Bur Dubai is home to the atmospheric Al FAHIDI Historic District, a historic renovated neighborhood that gives you an idea of what Dubai was. The old houses have been converted into shops, bars and art galleries and among the main attractions is Fort Al FAHIDI, the oldest building in Dubai.

In addition to the fort there are some interesting museums such as the Dubai Museum. Where you can discover the history of the city, and the Bur Dubai Textile SOUQ, a colorful textile market. South of Bur Dubai is the JUMEIRAH Mosque, the most important mosque in the city and the only one visited through non-Muslims. The atmosphere of this place becomes even more fascinating at sunset, when residents go out to shop in the district of DEIRA. Where you will find many traditional markets including the Spice SOUQ, the Gold SOUQ and the DEIRA Covered SOUQ. At dinner you can stop to eat in one of the many restaurants overlooking the canal, to have a great view of Dubai.

4th day - Excursion to the desert or beach

If you are staying for 4 days, I recommend that you dedicate the last day to a tour in the fascinating desert around Dubai. Alternatively, you can relax lying on the beach. Desert tours are usually carried out in 4X4 vehicles, Dubai tour packages, which offer an exciting journey on the undulating sand dunes. There are also suggestive balloon excursions that offer a breathtaking view of dunes and green oases. Some tours also include a desert dinner under the stars, with typical dishes and accompaniment of belly dancing performances.
